Frances Alter
Visual Arts, University of New England, Armidale

In 2000, Frances actively took over the coordination of unit administration, the development of teaching materials and dealt with student matters related to this learning design. The decision was also made to offer it as an online unit. Frances was the principal designer of the WebCT learning design and she has added to and refined the contents of the site gradually over the last two years.

Terrence Hays
Music Education, University of New England, Armidale

Terrence Hays co-authored all printed teaching materials ( unit outline/study guide/ resource book) for this learning design. He also participated in online bulletin board discussions. In 2002 he assumed all coordination responsibilities whilst Frances was on study leave.

Intellectual Property and Dissemination

 

The use of artworks and images as well as sound recordings and other musical works are subject to strict copyright regulations. For example, an entire artwork can be reproduced only if it has not been separately published or you have obtained copyright permission after special investigation; 10% of a musical work (not sound recordings) can be reproduced, etc.

Students must sign a copyright permission form in order for instructors to reproduce their artworks online.
